Under a full head of hair neatly divided to the sides, black eyes look over a set of half moon glasses. Clean shaven, and likes to keep it so. Usually wears a well tailored suede jacket, a white shirt and brown slacks. His hands are covered by tight leather gloves.
Personality: Never before has the world seen a man more cautious, more organised, and more concerned about “keeping up appearences” then John Reagen. He likes to be well ordered, and well aware of his surroundings, and more importantly, he likes to know exactly what if happening, and if possible, when it will be happening. He understands that the life he leads rarely gives him these simple advantages, thus leading his mind to regularly over think situations through. Of course, This means he doesn't talk much, but It leads him into his own state of “zen”, meaning that dispite not enjoying the company of most of the people you found on the Sea's, he has been able to be very friendly, even to people who may consider him an opponent.
History: Being born into a pirate family is hard, possibly trumping being born into a marine family. However, The Reagen family had none of these problems, as the whole family were born in Loguetown, and died in loguetown. The one abnormality he had in his lfe was the fact that his parents owned one of the largest arms dealers in the East blue. His father refused to accept that his son could not weild a weapon, and instructed him as well as he could. Although John didn't particularly want to learn to fight, he did so none the less. Eventually, fighting with a sword became less fighting with a weapon, but more fighting with an extention of the arm, only that his arm is not made from steel. He broke the tradition of inheriting the family trade by stealing most of his parents savings, including his fathers most prized possesion, his Rapier. With the money, he brought a boat, and left.
Realising he could not go through his life with only the money he had stolen, he decided the best way to gain money was by selling the only service he knew he was good at; swordfighting. He knew he could not enter competitions, as he felt his parents would find him, and report him to the marines as a fugitive. Thuis began his life as a mercenary, at the ripe age of 17. Twelve years later, after over a thousand encounters, he still remains alive. He has gained the reputation he didn't particularly want. His parents found out about his escapades, and have reported him, and now he lives the full life of an outlaw, knowing that the only allies he could make would be pirate-based. This didn't exactly worry him. After twelve year of murder and assassination, Most of his company were pirates anyhow.
Weaponry/Equipment: One Rapier. This is what he considers his main weapon, and has been with it since he helped release it from its former owner. It stands over a meter tall, with an ornate handle of silver and encrusted gems. He has cristened the blade “Matilda”. He also has two foot long cutlass which he hides under his jacket for close combat, and a pistola which he hides on the other side. He owns a small boat, which he calls “The white rabbit”, due to the fact that the boat has never once gotten him to a location on time. Regardless of his dislike for the boat, he will hold it for as long as he can, and refuses to give it up under any circumstances.
